At Tiny Paws of Hope, we believe that every cat deserves a loving and safe home.

We understand that adopting a cat from another country can seem daunting and stressful, but we aim to make the process as easy and stress-free as possible.

Our team works diligently to ensure that all the details are taken care of, so that your new fur baby can arrive safely and in good health. Our adoption process is completely transparent, so you can have complete peace of mind throughout the entire process with frequent updates.

We understand the importance of creating a perfect match between the cat and the family. It's about more than just finding a cat a home; it's about finding them a loving family that will cherish them for years to come. We take the time to get to know each cat's personality, preferences, and needs, as well as each family that is interested in adopting. This way, we can ensure that both the cat and the family are happy and thriving together.

We understand that adopting a cat is a big decision, and we want to make sure that you have all the information you need before making your choice. We will take the time to answer all your questions and address any concerns you may have so that you can feel confident and excited about welcoming a new furry family member.

The Adoption Process

Step 1 - Adoption Form

The first step in our adoption process is to complete an adoption form to express your interest.

We then spend time speaking with you either about the cat you would like to adopt, or finding the purfect match for you.

Step 2 - Homecheck

Once the adoption form has been reviewed, and you have decided who the perfect furry friend for you is, we then arrange a home check.

A home check is to ensure your home is suitable, the cat will be safe and everything you have told us is correct.

Step 3 - Reservation

Once your home check is complete, the cat is then reserved for you and 50% of the adoption fee becomes due.

We now begin the exciting part!

Step 4 - Preparation

Once you have paid half of your adoption fee, we then get to work making all the necessary arrangements for your cat to travel.

This include vet checks, vaccinations, microchipping, preparing travel crates, import/export declarations etc

Step 5 - Flight Confirmation

Once the pet passport has been completed and relevant vaccinations administered, we will then book a flight date for your new fur baby to travel.

The remaining 50% of your adoption fee will now become due to allow us to book and confirm the flight.

Step 6 - Flight Prep

All the details have now been taken care of, and the process of preparing your baby to travel begins.

Fit to fly health checks are completed, cats are introduced to crates, health certificates from government vets are obtained.

Step 7 - Flight Day

The exciting day ... your furry friend is coming home.

All necessary vet checks are completed, and your cat will be taken to the airport for check in ready for their journey to the UK.

Step 8 - Arrival

Once cats arrive into the UK, they are taken to animal control.

Your cat will be relased from its travelling crate to stretch its legs and be fed a light meal whilst they check paperwork and their health.

They will be checked over by a vet before being released to the flight consignee.

Step 9 - Collection

You will have been told a time to arrive at animal control and will be included within a group message regarding collection.

As soon as cats are released please collect your cat from the flight consignee.

ID will be required.

As a non-profit organisation, we are forbidden from making profit, therefore you can be assured all costs are exact.
